[Feature Request] Hide (instead of delete) based on File

Today, we have the collections all on/created/enabled. If we need to just see one or two collections because it just makes sense for that specific scene, we can't. We also can't hide, just remove.

What I request is a third/fourth options, besides create/delete: hide/show.

It will be per scene, in my view. I can show X collection tabs per file, that will auto show/hide when I open the scene. It's possible?

@AdrianoCahete the functionality you're requesting sounds quite specific in my opinion. To be honest, I can barely envision what it might look like. How exactly are we supposed to "show" previously hidden collections? Because then we'd have to display a separate list somewhere...

Excel sheets have the ability to be hidden, and to show them again there is an option to unhide which opens up a popup menu where you can select from a list of hidden sheets.

At the moment a work around would be to save different configurations of tabs as different libraries and open them as needed. Whether or not this feature should be actually implemented I don't have a strong opinion on besides saying it wouldn't hurt.

To make this somewhat less painful, it might be an interesting idea to add the ability to open "recently" used libraries similar to how you can open recent scenes.

Yes, sort of. I don't know if you are aware of, but Battlefield is using Godot for their Portal "Make a Map" feature (PortalSDK as they call it). So, to make it easier for most of the users, they are providing a zip with the Godot Editor with a library of assets, the project partially configured, a custom plugin, default maps as a base, but users just can use the Spatial Editor and Typescript.

With that, a lot of Battlefield players are trying to work with Godot and make a lot of custom modes, custom maps and game experiences as well.

Also, they are using your plugin for the Object Library tab. The problem is: there's no filter/assign between "level name" and "Tab name" (that, in this case, is the same), so they load all the Objects for all the levels/files, but users can just use assets from each level.
