Blender specific nodes disappear from the Add Node list and turn to Undefined when connected to ComfyUI.

Exactly as the title says. Blender will recognize the Blender specific nodes, such as Input Image, before it connects to ComfyUI. After it connects, all the nodes from ComfyUI take over and all Blender specific nodes turn to Undefined and are gone from any lists.

It seems if the port number is changed form the default in the addon, 8189, to the standard 8188 ComfyUI uses, it breaks the Blender specific nodes. So just don't change the port number in the addon and leave it at 8189. Currently seems to work in latest stable Blender 4.3.2.

Still doesnt work for me. Latest comfyui, running as a remote server, python 3.12

Blender 4.0, Blender 4.5.1 LTS

Nodes disappear as soon as i connect, regardless of the port..

I have managed to find a solution to this. ComfyUI is missing the Blender-IO nodes, so to fix it you would need to first set the ComfyUI path and python path within the LocalServer settings, run the local server, and the you can keep connecting via RemoteServer. Seems like the path to comfyui and a python executable is needed to actually install the custom Blender nodes. Everything worked after that. Cheers!
