SEV with Confidential Containers

I'm trying to run Confidential Containers (which uses Kata Containers) on an AMD chip. I see there is a [`kata`](https://github.com/AMDESE/AMDSEV/tree/kata) branch on this repository but it's over 5 years old and meant for Ubuntu 18. Is it still applicable ? If not what do you recommend ?
