P2P Chat like erstwhile 'Yahoo Chat!' on Web and Apps, with AI capabilities and custom search with uploaded documents and website links, is what I am looking.
Generic Chat rooms, private and custom group chat rooms also should be possible.

Can that be made with ADAMANT.

ADAMANT is not a direct P2P messenger. It uses a blockchain as a decentralized message storage layer, which means communication goes through the network and does not expose users’ real IP addresses to each other.
AI capabilities can be added by integrating an open-source LLM running on your own infrastructure, or by connecting to APIs of major AI providers.
Search across messages, uploaded documents, and referenced websites is implemented on the client side (indexing and semantic search in the app itself).
Public rooms and private chats are possible, but native group chats are not yet implemented in ADAMANT.

In general, everything you described can be built on top of ADAMANT: it is cross-platform, open-source, and extensible — you can take it as a base and implement the missing layers yourself.
