Having name resolution issue with local DNS when using Adguard Home

I have adguard Home server and added AH IP 192.168.1.218 to my router to block ads and stuff. It was working fine; I could see unwanted content getting blocked, etc. However, I am having an issue with the name resolution of my server. I have an internal primary and a secondary DNS server that I was using, and it was easy for me to use hostname instead of IP to access websites such web.homelab.local etc. After adding AdGuard's IP in my router, I am unable to access my websites using the hostname name. I added both local DNS in the "Private reverse DNS servers" field from the DNS setting with port and without, but still, it's not working. Can someone help how me use Adugard Home to block ads and, at the same time, be able to use name resolution works? Appreciate your help!
