Kerbalism version doesnt load with Kopernicus Expansion installed.

KSP community fixes pops a warning saying the Kerbalism is missing if I have Kopernicus expansion installed.

[WRN 22:30:10.001] [KSPCF] A ReflectionTypeLoadException thrown by Assembly.GetTypes() has been handled by KSP Community Fixes.
This is usually harmless, but indicates that the "WeatherDrivenSolarPanel" plugin failed to load (location: "GameData\WeatherDrivenSolarPanel\Plugin\WeatherDrivenSolarPanel.dll")
It happened because "WeatherDrivenSolarPanel" is missing the following dependencies : "Kerbalism"

Did you replace the WeatherDrivenSolarPanel.dll file located in GameData\WeatherDrivenSolarPanel\Plugin with the WeatherDrivenSolarPanel.dll file located in Extras\KerbalismSupport?

I'm running it in a kerbalism+kcalbeloh+WDSP environment and haven't encountered any errors reported by KSPCF.

Did you try using it with Kopernicus Expansion installed? Thats whats breaking it. No idea why.

This warning indicates that Kerbalism is not installed. I am currently investigating this issue.

I reproduced this problem.
The error is actually caused by the DLL file KopernicusExpansion\Plugins\RunSharp.dll. I'm not entirely sure what role KopernicusExpansion plays with RunSharp here, but the KopernicusExpansion I'm using in my kcalbeloh mod doesn't have this RunSharp.dll. You could try deleting it and see if it causes any adverse effects.

Additionally, I will conduct further investigations next year and try to resolve this issue.

Cheers. Ive no idea either but in the last changelog of Kopernicus Expansion they added Runsharp.dll back. Ill delete runsharp for now just to keep things working.

I also noticed their changelog; this DLL seemed to have caused some issues before, which I vaguely recall.

However, updating WDSP's Kerbalism won't be a high priority. I'm planning update for the Kerbalism solar panel module, as it malfunctions in multi-star environments, similar to earlier versions of KOP.

In my recent development and gameplay testing, I noticed that another mod also encounters the issue where Kerbalism.dll fails to load. This problem is related to reflection, and the root cause is that Kerbalism currently releases the file as .kbin rather than .dll. As a result, KSPCF detects that Kerbalism.dll is not loaded.

However, R-T-B mentioned that future versions of Kerbalism will provide a DLL release instead of a KBIN, so this issue should be resolved in upcoming updates.

Additionally, I’m happy to share that once Kerbalism merges my PR, WDSP based on the new Kerbalism will be more complete. It has already been pushed to the dev channel. As soon as Kerbalism releases a new version, I will update accordingly. You’re very welcome to try it out at that time.
