Fix for #87 resulted in a new warning

Issue

Warning: Outer names are only allowed for unnamed scalar atomic inputs OR Warning in max(.) : no non-missing arguments to max; returning -Inf now appears on back-end when loading gap files.

Reproduce

Warning: Outer names are only allowed for unnamed scalar atomic inputs happened when loading all Red and Teal files on 11/10/23. Does not happen when the file names don't match.
Warning in max(.) : no non-missing arguments to max; returning -Inf happened on Lime3 on 11/11/23
