[Bug]ROM Count Synchronization Regression

I have encountered an issue where the ROM count initially displays correctly but reverts after synchronization.

Behavior: RomM can now correctly detect the number of ROMs from the remote source. However, after the initial scan, when the system starts synchronizing each platform with the local data, the ROM count for some platforms reverts to the local count instead of maintaining the remote count.

Expected Result: The ROM count should stay consistent with the remote source after synchronization is complete.

v1.4.2 has improvements here — stable game count tracking after sync and safer orphan handling during background refreshes. Could you give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know if the counts stay consistent? With 10k+ ROMs on a Synology NAS I can't easily reproduce your exact scenario, so your feedback helps a lot.
