Bug: Unauthorized 401 on wallet query/JupiterUltraClient #14

Description

@maddefientist

Description

Multiple sessions encountered a series of 401 Unauthorized errors when attempting to fetch holdings or prices via the JupiterUltraClient.

Observed Logs

  • Attempt 1/5 failed: status=401, body={"code":401,"message":"Unauthorized"}
  • JupiterUltraClient initialized with bundled API key
  • The issue occurred when using the bundled API key provided by the SlopeSniper package.

Context

  • SlopeSniper Version: 0.2.7
  • Package: slopesniper-mcp
  • Troubleshooting steps taken: Updated slopesniper, cleared local config. The issue appeared to persist when an invalid or expired API key was persisted in local state or when failing back to a bundled key that may be rate-limited/expired.

Note

This was reported by a user using the MCP extension. Sensitive details (private keys, actual wallet addresses) have been removed from this log.
