Displayinator

Locate and manage windows who are stubborn about showing up in screen recording tools

Warning

This source code is supplied for educational usage only. You should only attempt this on software you explicitly have permission to test on.

The author additionally strongly advises against running this program against any tool with an anticheat or antidebug; it is not at all subtle. I'm serious, don't even run this on a different process if an anticheat is watching your system, they will almost certainly flag you either way.

The author does not accept liability for any actions taken with this software.

Building

  • Build the DLL and exe files. Ensure they're output to the same directory.
  • You might have to set "use multi-byte character encoding" in your compiler settings
  • As an administrator, run Displayinator.exe, argument usage is below

                        wish to set to zero

About

Some windows can set a flag on themselves so that they don't show up in screen shares or in screenshot tools, etc. - this utility finds those windows, and makes it so that they are visible to these tools.
