"Failed to register AppImage in system via libappimage"

Setup (please complete the following information):

• Distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed
• Distribution release: latest snapshot 202510-22
• Geeqie version: Latest Continuous Build AppImage

Describe the bug
When attempting to use AppImageLauncher to register the AppImage to the system, I get this error message and the AppImage is not registered in the KDE Menu, although it IS added to the ~/Applications folder.
Error message: "Failed to register AppImage in system via libappimage"

To reproduce

1. Download AppImage from Continuous Build Assets
2. Set AppImage to be executable.
3. Click the AppImage.
4. AppImageLauncher asks to register and run the application.
5. Upon clicking, error message is displayed.

Expected behavior
As usual with Appimages, expect the AppImage to be registered in the KDE Menu and execute.
