Wifi - UI to swap in/out images?

Sorry for this naff (and perhaps repeat) question :)

I was wondering if it would be possible at all, to keep a library of images (be it ISO or HDD) and using a simplistic UI, to be able to "activate" (or deactivate) those images while keeping them adressed to specific scsi-ids? (swap in/out on demand).

Nowadays, SD-card capacities are rather overwhelming and it would be great if it was possible to setup a library of many images with the ability to activate a set of them from the outside (without physical intervention).
