consider Extism to simplify the DX

Hi, this is really cool! I read your note about the alloc and free functions needing implementation by each wasm module and thought perhaps Extism could help simplify this from a developer experience standpoint.

I'm curious if this was something you have already looked into and if so, where it fell short.

The project already has great support to compile plugins from 8 languages and good documentation for users to learn from.
