Tips for installing CMRR on the XA60 service pack upgrade

Hello,
Siemens recently upgraded the XA60 to solve internal bugs, a process that required formatting the system and reinstalling it.
Hence, we had to reinstall the CMRR sequences.
Here are the issues that we had (which we did not had when installing CMRR after the initial upgrade to XA60). Till we solved them kept getting the blue-screen error msg:

1. We downloaded a new version of the CMRR files (even though, we had just installed one 2 months ago).
2. Installation of the certificate: The powershell expect to find the certificate in C:/Temp. i.e. you have to copy it out from the extracted folder.
3. After the certificate is installed, it deletes the INSTALLxxx.exe, it should be copied again into the same location.
4. In the exam card, you should select to see also inconsistent sequences. Then create a new protocol(program) and copy the entire old sequence to the new program and save.

Yes, it looks like since XA60 it is better to use C:\tmp instead of C:\Temp since the former is not deleted on every reboot.

Hi,

We were also been teezed to install new Service Package 2 (SP2). May i ask you wether the instalation from C:\temp worked or is there any other issue with SP2.

We are also suggested for the SP2, potentially fixing the issue of Auto Routing (it works sporadically).
It seems that SP2 does not need the C2P sequences to be recompiled, right?
