Which 'Copy reference parameters' between multiple MEGAPRESS scans

Dear MRS experts,

we are setting up a MRS study. The idea is to do three MEGAPRESS scans and compare the GABA and Glx values in a certain brain region between scans.

The position of the FOV needs to be exactly the same for each measurement, so we use the option to 'Copy reference parameters'.

My question is which other 'Copy reference parameters' we should use between scans to get comparable values.

The order and timing of the measurements is:
MEGAPRESS 1
(~2 mins pass)
MEGAPRESS 2
(~10 mins pass to induce a experiment related change)
MEGAPRESS 3

These are the options for copying reference parameters (XA60-Prisma):

• Center of Slice Groups and Saturation
• Sclice and Saturation
• Slices & Adjustment Volume
• Slices
• Saturation Regions
• Measurement Parameters
• Adjustment Volume
• Patient Position
• Navigators
• All

At the moment we use 'All' but we would like to be sure if that makes sense. I can come up with reasons for both - reshimming and adjusting the frequency or not doing it.

Measurement Parameters is the best option for spectroscopy; it copies the VoI.

All seems to copy absolutely everything (including the underlying sequence); aside from keeping the name of the series I think it is effectively the same as duplicating the protocol by dragging and dropping in the exam queue. It seems more confusing than useful.

It turns out 'Messparameter' does all of this:

However, it does not copy the 'Adjustment Volume', which determines the shimming. So I think I will go with 'Slices & Adjustment Volume' then.

This should make sure the shimming volume remains the same between scans, while the frequency will be updated.
