Cannot Run CLIPS code in Atom

I am a relatively new Atom user and had no problem running Java code but struggling with CLIPS I just keep getting this message "Command not configured for CLIPS!". Can anybody help me fix this.

You cannot run CLIPS code from within Atom. You can write it, and there is a create plug-in to help with formatting, etc.
You'll need to run your CLIPS code from within a CLIPS shell running in a command prompt — which runs on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems.

Thank you so much for coming back to me with this. I am a student and tried to use Atom as my cross platform for Java, C# and CLIPS but now I'm using the CLIPS IDE to run my CLIPS code and still use Atom for the rest.
