Problem Description

I have a factory plan to make one rocket silo (per minute, but I don't really care about the rate) on Vulcanus, just as a checklist of things I need to make in order to build a silo there.

Matrix mode is overkill for this, but I have it on by default and expect it to Just Work. However, there is some weirdness going on that I don't fully understand.

Reproduction

If I add recipes in the order shown in the attached screenshots (and choose stone as the unrestricted item), everything does work... temporarily.

If I then toggle matrix mode off and back on, the same factory plan now insists that there are linearly dependent recipes, offering me a chance to pick Processing Units or the Rocket Silo itself.

Neither selection is useful:
PU's gives me a solution with many ingredients demanded that the chosen recipes do provide:

Silo is the target product so allowing it to be unrestricted zeros out the entire factory:

Sometimes reordering recipes can trigger this behavior, but I haven't been able to reproduce this as cleanly.
