Add shift-click quick-move for ghost ingredients (same behavior as JEI #4232 PoC) #169
Description
Hi! I’d like to request implementing the same “ghost ingredient quick-move” behavior shown in this JEI issue (it includes a detailed motivation writeup, a video, and a PoC commit):
Ghost ingredient transfer is super useful when configuring filters/ghost slots (AE2 storage bus filters, cell/workbench partitioning, and similar UIs). Drag-and-drop works, but moving many ingredients that way is slow and easy to lose your place because you keep moving the mouse back and forth.
Requested behavior (implement the PoC interaction)
When a GUI supports receiving ghost ingredients from HEI (the same situations where drag-and-drop works today):
Shift-click an ingredient in HEI to “quick-move” it into the GUI’s ghost slot(s), instead of starting a drag.
This should work from the ingredient list and also bookmarks/favorites , same as in the JEI PoC.
