I have successfully installed the DeTAILS desktop application, but I am looking for a step-by-step guide on how to initiate and navigate the analysis workflow.
Based on the thesis documentation, the system follows a specific six-phase reflexive thematic analysis (TA) framework. I would appreciate instructions on how to properly move through these stages:
- Phase 1: Background Research – How do I upload literature to create the "memory snapshot" and interact with the radial map of related concepts?
- Phase 2: Loading Data – What are the exact steps to pull data via Academic Torrents versus uploading pre-formatted Reddit data?
- Phase 3: Coding – How do I switch between 'Review Mode' and 'Edit Mode' to refine LLM-generated codes and interact with the chat-augmented view?
- Phase 4: Reviewing Codes – How do I use the "bucket" interface to cluster codes into higher-order reviewed codes?
- Phase 5: Generating Themes – What is the process for dragging reviewed codes into overarching theme buckets?
- Phase 6: Report – How do I toggle between 'Detailed' and 'Summary' views for the final CSV export?
