RBGE proposal

Creating standard dataset of multi-specimen herbarium sheets, with:

• Images
• Multiple barcodes on each image
• Multiple labels on each image
• Transcribed text for each label
• Maximum 2,000 specimen barcodes - we may be looking at a subset

1. Creating FDO
2. Segmentation
3. Identifying the barcodes
4. Assigning barcodes to appropriate material and label
