• Take AI Mode as the base, as its URL saves the search/research history.
  Search Mode, on the other hand, is just an auxiliary option to view more additional sources.
• Save/open the search/research session URL of AI Mode, while keeping the search session history of Gemini Mode to continue.
• Gemini Mode adheres to Saved-info.
• Added and optimized the interface for the Deep-research feature

This is my contribution, someone who really likes the Google AI ecosystem and has used Gemini for a lot of searching/research.
And I've been using this Chrome extension for a long time and find it essential, indispensable, and non-replaceable.
AI Mode and Gemini Mode yield different search/research results; they can complement each other rather than exclude each other because the core technologies behind them are different.
Your Chrome extension solution is a seamless "connection of experiences" and "synchronization of history" between the two modes, allowing for comparison on a single interface.
Keep developing it, don't give up. Google will not create a similar solution to your utility because Google splits 2 AI Modes and Gemini Modes using 2 different histories and 2 different core technologies.
