Update for Swift Concurrency in Swift 6

Now that I'm (finally) learning more about all the new Swift Concurrency features I've realized this project is outdated before it's even done 😞. Since nobody is using it yet, might as well get everything updated and "future proof" now. Especially since these changes likely have broad architectural impacts for work yet to be done!
