SSL/TLS Connection Error

Hello,
I'm experiencing a MySQL connection error on my Garry's Mod server. When I try to transfer my addons and configuration to a Windows development server, I get the following error:

TLS/SSL error: SSL is required, but the server does not support it
Connection failed!

Database are hosted on a Linux Server MySQLOO Linux and MySQLOO Windows are not compatible?

It is very strange that you get the error. The default of the library should be to prefer SSL if possible, but not enforce it.
However, I added a new function to the latest beta where you can explicitly specify not to use SSL, by calling

local db = ...
db:setSSLMode(mysqloo.SSL_MODE_DISABLED)
db:connet()

This should alleviate the issue.

However, please be aware that not using SSL is very much not recommended as all the information transmitted will not be encrypted and can be intercepted.

No, there is no incompatibility between Windows and Linux.
The problem is likely that when you host it on your development server, the MySQL server is on a remote network and the client requires SSL because it would be insecure otherwise.
