I really liked the idea behind Menu clip and the expando. but Edge doesn't do well. Fonts rendering all gets messy because of the scale transformations.
Menu also gets smudgy on Firefox while the menu is animating. After the animation is done, the menu text looks good. But on Edge it is all bad either way. This was supposed to be a solution for performance but it backfires on font rendering.
