Adding new BCTs to BCTO #1166
Description
Developing the CACTISS tool highlighted some noticeable gaps in the ontology where additional BCTs would be useful. These gaps were primarily located within ‘Restructure the physical environment’ and ‘Restructure the social environment’ classes, both of which contained few BCTs on specifically how practitioners could restructure environments beyond ‘distraction’ and ‘adding objects to the environment’. Robert West and Esther Flanagan, and with support from Susan Michie have developed 19 new BCTs to address these gaps.
