I'm a newbie! I have Insta 360 One R cams. I want to enhance basic functionality. I have SDK and OSC from Insta and the Android api. The camera is controlled by an app on my phone, from Insta. I want to use the SDK to develop the enhancements. How do I start? Any help much appreciated

This is the repository of the OSC (Open Spherical Camera) API. I don't have access to the official SDK, but I think the documentation comes with it. If it doesn't, see the repositories in Insta360's GitHub.

To my knowledge Insta360 cameras don't support apps, and both the SDK and OSC API are used to make apps for other devices that can control them, so I don't know if it's possible to make the enhancements you want to make.

As for the OSC API: the camera creates a Wi-Fi network. In your case, it will be named something like "ONE R.(letters and numbers here) OSC". The network's password is usually 12345678 or 88888888, however I believe in the latest versions of the Insta360 app it's possible to change it. After connecting, send web requests to http://192.168.42.1. The README and Google's OSC API documentation can help.
