Userchrome toggle doesn't appear to remember its toggled state

Hello, currently I am having some trouble with the "Userchrome Toggle" extension. Whenever I open the extensions UI, toggle something, and reopen the UI, the toggle resets to its default state, and doesn't remember the previous toggled state. For example, lets say I enable something with the toggle, and then close the UI, when I reopen the UI, it will show up as disabled when its actually enabled, and to disable it I have to enable then disable in the UI. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix for this?

same issue, but this seems to be an issue only on windows, my linux (endeavour os) userchrome toggle is working as intended it toggles and i used the same theme with pretty much the same configuration (shyfox)

i am not exactly sure what the issue with windows is both of them are on the most up to date firefox version i have access to (126.0)

Glad to know that the author of Shyfox maybe will take on JS and rework UserChrome Toggle.
