Description
Describe the bug
On latest Subnautica version as of today's date, after some time, seemingly 10-20 hours, of running the game with the mod enabled and placing items in the world, the mod will start spawning random items at world origin coordinates (0,0,0). It is unclear whether these items are copies of items crafted with the Fabricator, placed in the world, or if they are completely randomized.
From observation, it would appear that the items are largely 1:1 copies of stuff that was both crafted with the Fabricator AND with the Hab Tool (lockers, eggs, seeds, desks etc), but I have been unable to 100% confirm this.
Describe the steps to reproduce the bug
- Start a new game with Mod enabled
- Build a base, using the fabricator and hab tool to place new, modded items.
- After you have created a good amount of items, go to world origin (0,0,0)
- There should now be a huge pile of items occupying that point, as well as several random eggs strewn about in the near vicinity.
Attempted fixes
- Deleting the Cache file for that zone: Unsuccessful (items will respawn as soon as the zone is loaded)
- Deleting the
DecorationsModfolder from within the savegame folder: Unsuccessful (appears to do nothing) - Removing the mod: Partially successful. The large stack of "modded" items will be removed, but vanilla items remain.
- Deleting the entire CellsCache folder: Unsuccessful (items respawn on zone load)
- Messing with configurations: Unsuccessful (no settings appear to have any influence on spawning items).
- Using the unofficial Nautilus port of the mod, rather than SMLHelper: Unsuccessful (bug appears identical in both version)
Expected behavior
Needless to say, these items should not be here at all.
