Using this to keep track of a list of backend improvements and new features for the Color Image Operation:

• Implement other scale algorithms (like median-stretch) in fits2image.
• Support selecting scale algorithm and scale parameters from the Color Image Operation.
• Support selecting composite algorithm from the Color Image Operation.
