ABOUT THE PROJECT

This is an ongoing project that is still not complete. There have been several issues with the series which I want to figure out and update the series though I have many other major and important series that need my focus on right now but I will be coming back to this in the future and working on getting it all patched up and working for the community. In short Forge Energy is a system that NeoForge and Forge use for a standard energy and fluid system. It's not the best that could be achieved and lots is not possible with it. However, I do plan on making a variable-based energy and fluid system based on Forge/NeoForge NBT which Forge Energy and Fluid is based on.

V8 - 2023.4 / 1.20.1

• Fixed LC Cable East cable model update script not applying the correct variable. (Requires cables to be replaced and script updated.)
• Added forge flow procedure templates for fluid types.
• Added pipes and pipe model updater script based on the cable model updater script.
• Added pump that can pump more than one kind of liquid.
• Added a new NBT tag that can help keep multi-use pipes separate "forgeFluidType"
• Pipes can send more than one kind of fluid if the fluid restriction is left blank for the pipe blocks.
• Re-exported the procedures to ensure everything is set up correctly.
• The fluid system is set up in this workspace, but at the moment no tutorial is out yet.
• Pipes may still have issues though, I think I weeded out most of the problems if not all of them.

• Fixed an issue with cable and extender script that would prevent energy from going down a cable or device.

• Fixed a critical issue discovered in the series.
• Added forgeFlow system to assist with the proper flowing directional energy.
• Cables, generators, and batteries now have support for the forgeFlow system.

• Added support for an energy-draining system each time the energy is sent.
• Fixed an issue regarding sending energy.
• Fixed comment sizes on most of the procedures.

• Added test blocks (generator, storage, and machine)

• Fixed UV mapping on cable models.

V2 - 2023.3 / 1.20.1

• Fixed cables being to put power into devices despite the middle not connecting.
• Fixed an unseen issue with the distribution of energy for each side, this should now send an equal amount of energy to available sides.
• Cables now use the same tags as the devices in the script so that they can fix the power issue that was stated above.
• Cable tags are now better defined for the tag format “forge:cables//” this allows better separation between cable types.
• Changed the name of the device NBT tags to “cables” eg: (cablesNorth) this cleans up the name to make it more consistent.
• Added support for Forge Energy direction, some mods may use the direction for sending energy so the script now takes that into consideration.
• Optimised the block model procedures a bit to use Else If statement which should improve performance a small bit.
