CLI does not accept output folder

When using the CLI i am getting the following error.

As a suggestion, is it possible to add the csv option to the GUI as well?

Actually you can provide the output folder from the cli. The trick is that the output folder must contain a configuration json file that says what to extract and how.

So run it once and use the wizard to create a configuration.json file. Configure options as desired. Then place the config file in a destination folder specify that folder from the cli.

Since it requires a config file to run there isn't a way around it. But the intention is to let you define it once and use it repeatedly for cli automation.

You can also specify the output format as CSV or XLSX in the config file.

Would it be possible to create a step where if the configuration file doesn't exist, generate it, else use the existing one?

That is the default operation. You specify the three items required to create a config, the output folder, the location of the srum and the location of the software hive and it creates the config.
