iOS: Multiline text field keeps keyboard open and blocks access to fields below

Description
When typing into a multiline text field in a form, the iOS keyboard covers the fields below. The keyboard can’t be dismissed, and the fields below are not accessible.

This seems related to (previously fixed/closed): #383

Environment
PROD + Staging

Application (+ app version, build, operating system)

• Actual iOS app build: 26.02.856711
• Actual iOS version: iOS 26.2.1

Steps to reproduce

1. Download/open project [tester-ws-1/tc05_forms_widgets](https://app.dev.merginmaps.com/projects/tester-ws-1/tc05_forms_widgets/tree) in the mobile app.
2. Add new record in POI layer.
3. Tap the Multiline field to start editing and type multiple lines of text.
4. Try to dismiss the keyboard (tap outside / Done) and/or access fields below the multiline field.

Actual results

• Keyboard stays open / cannot be closed.
• Keyboard covers subsequent fields; fields below cannot be tapped/edited.

Expected results

• Form scrolls/adjusts so the active field and following fields remain accessible.

A client has reported experience of this issue while using a Motorola (did not give exact model) device on Android 16 while using standard Gboard. Same customer is reporting that several of their users on iOS devices also have this problem.

I'm just going to write down my findings here from my testing:

• on iOS 26 I was able to scroll the form and "swipe down" the keyboard without issues
• on iOS 17 same thing, but you are not able to scroll freely if you are not on the last line of the input
• AFAIK iOS never had button to close the keyboard, you have to "swipe down" the keyboard
• on Android with 3 button navigation one should close the keyboard
• on Android with gesture navigation a small caret appeared next to the big bottom bar when keyboard is open, which closes it
• on Android the focus is always returning the input field back when scrolling

Besides the focus blocking free scroll, I'm not 100% persuaded there is anything for us to fix
