Volumetric clouds rendering in the void no matter the height setting (in VR) #110

Describe the bug

I think this has to do with ViveCraft, because with VR disabled the clouds render fine but they bug with VR enabled. I have volumetric clouds enabled, but they aren't visible in the sky with VR enabled:

(By the way I just want to say this looks absolutely amazing, great work on the shader)

Then I noticed while the world was loading in that clouds were visible below the terrain, and when I flew down into the void it confirmed that they do actually render, just down in the void.
While there were holes in the world from chunks not loading or if I flew into the void, I saw the clouds down there.

Changing the height setting seemed to have an effect on where they were, but not enough to get them above ground. At 5,000 which is the max height it normally allows, the clouds were a bit below bedrock. I tried manually editing the file to set the height to an absurdly high value (600,000) but it stayed below bedrock, and even negative values didn't fix anything.
I tested with the unstable release of Bliss shaders and the volumetric clouds rendered just fine.

Describe how your minecraft is set up

Info:

  • Nvidia GPU
  • Windows 11
  • 1.21.11
  • Modrinth App
  • Iris Shaders
  • The most recent unstable version of the shader
  • Lots of small mods, but the most important ones I think are Voxy and ViveCraft

Describe how to reproduce the bug

The bug appears with ViveCraft installed and VR enabled. I can play with the mod installed but with VR disabled and then the bug goes away.
