Currently the FOG_START_HEIGHT option has a cap of 200, but sometimes when the shader is used with increased terrain height generation mods like jjthunder or tectonic, where terrain can be higher than that, it can cause a disparity in visuals like godrays and border fog as seen from high mountains.
To improve, I would make fog start height be able to reach heights like clouds do (up to 800) or have an option to match said configurations so fog starts right where lower clouds end. This can help with the visuals from high mountain shots above said 200 current limit
