"Bad" characters in application names #392

Seasons greetings to all

Working in a 365 environment, we store Exports in SPO via OneDrive (simple to use, low quality, not quite version management).

This has been great for catching policies with a leading or trailing space, or "bad" characters as the OneDrive sync client is quite noisy.

Today I've encountered a new issue, two Apple Store apps with "bad" characters in the names, and therefore bad characteres in the json file name.

The difference with these, is that as the name is set from the App Store, it cannot be changed.

The applications are
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/freenow-by-lyft-taxi-more/id357852748
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/speechify-text-to-speech/id1209815023

If the applications are added to a tenant and then an export is made with applications to a location that is synced with the OnDrive sync client it should be fairly obvious (-:

Freenow by Lyft taxi & more
Speechify Text to Speech

I presume the issue is are the two characters after the a with a caret

Obviously it's impossible for IntuneManagement to "fix" the application names, but I wondered if the "encoding" of the application name in the file name could be changed to accommodate poor choices made by application vendors?
