What happened?

Clicking on the download window link, the ICoreWebView2NewWindowRequestedEventHandler event does not occur.

Importance

Moderate. My app's user experience is affected, but still usable.

Repro steps

Download complete, creates a link to open the file in the default window, when clicking on the link the event is TRIGGERED.
After closing/opening the browser, (CTRL + J) to open the default download window, when clicking on the link the event is NOT TRIGGERED, opens a new independent WebView2 window.

@fa0110 The repro steps isn't clear - can you explain a bit more? How does a completed download create a link? Please share a small self contained example if possible

Open the application with the embedded WebView2 component.
Press CTRL + J to open the downloads list.

Notice that in the opened panel, below the file name, there’s a link to open the file. For testing purposes, I’m using a PDF file.
However, instead of raising the ‘ICoreWebView2NewWindowRequestedEventHandler’ event to open the PDF file, the runtime directly opens a new instance of ‘msedgewebview2.exe’.
