[Bug]: Ran install, it failed to create venv, installed to global

What happened?

I ran the install.bat on windows. It failed to make a virtual environment and a venv folder but continued to install requirements to my global environment instead.

What did you expect would happen?

It should have succeeded to create the venv, or stopped.

Hey. I am not at that machine now, but I can try that when I get home. How do I generate a debug report of the install script? I did manually create the venv and then ran pip install with requirements inside of it. When I ran the install script again, it again tells me it has "found" a python.exe to run (but it is the global one), so I aborted it to avoid it again installing all the dependencies globally (I had run an uninstall prior to clean up).

There should be a export_debug.bat file but I see you mentioned you have uninstalled already so that wont work now 😔

Can you describe your:

• python version
• the folder you git cloned this repo to (specifically git clone)
• how you are running python
• exact OS version
• anything else you think might help me recreate this

If even with the above info I still cant recreate, you are going to have to join the discord and we will need to troubleshoot live

Output of debug seem to be wrong. I am not on windows 10, not sure why it thinks that. But the reason the venv info is included in thies debug log is because I did a manual python -m venv venv, activated it and did pip install -r requirements.txt :
