"Collapse group" after multiple selection

I was thinking that after selecting multiple nodes, "Collapse group" would replace all of them by a single new virtual node (the group).

But it does not work, so either I did not understood or their is a bug

We tried and it works as expected,

We have selected nodes

we collapsed

The result is

[NicolasAnquetil]
