Installation on WSL

Describe the bug
The .deb cannot be installed, nor removed in WSL, due to pre/post install scripts that do not check if the desktop menu is available or not.

xdg-desktop-menu: No writable system menu directory found.
dpkg: error processing package github-store (--configure):
 installed github-store package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 3
Errors were encountered while processing:
 github-store
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

To Reproduce
Install .deb in WSL Ubuntu 24.04

Expected behavior
Program can be installed and removed without errors

@phramusca I am sorry that this happened. If you are struggling to fix the WSL here is the commands that can help removing it:

sudo dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq github-store

If that fails, try purge:

sudo dpkg --purge --force-remove-reinstreq github-store

Clean up dpkg state if still broken:

sudo dpkg --configure -a --force-confnew
sudo apt-get install -f

I will be working on a fix so this does not happen next time 👍

Thanks but I already managed to remove it (by modifying the scripts to early exit). And I tried the AppImage (which seems to only download the installers but not performing real installation of the softwares)
