With these it is working on 64bit raspi image. I hope it help. Try to implement into Openmanet but i dont have much time.

We have added 3b/2W support to the latest release. I should have that image uploaded tomorrow.

Would you have an idea of how likely the most recent release would it be to work with a banana pi M2+ / M2 zero? Or the Orange Pi Zero2 or Zero3? It'd be really nice to use a board with a build in antenna connector for extra range for the AP without needing to use a USB wifi dongle. It seems like the Orange Pis might have better mainline support and integrate easier.

With that DTS with raspberry zero 2 the wifi is working fine. I have a few Orange Pi zero 2 i try to adapt it in Q1-Q2. Before that i dont have time for that.

It all comes down to the CPU architecture the SBC uses. If you are relying on GPIO then that would require making a custom dtoverlay for it.

As of right now neither are supported directly, but maybe in the future. As for a board with a wifi connector, you could look at a Raspberry Pi CM4 with wifi built in. It has an external antenna connector, and you just need a carrier board for it. This has been tested and does work with the most recent firmware release.
