clone eMMC for open4neptune for testing on the same card

Hi, I world like to know if I could make a full backup (like a clone with Macrium) of the eMMc default 8gb store that comes with the printer, keeping safe the factory system and try open4neptune on the same card, is it possible? (i'm afraid on brick something or maybe after all the joy, I could sell the printer but with factory system)

i'm waiting for the 32gb from aliexpress arrive...

In any case you'd need an adapter - which you'd probably get at the same time as the bigger EMMC module ;)

But I can't see why you should not be able to run (I'm a Linux guy, so don't ask me for a Windows way) dd to create a full identical copy of the whole module (while plugged into USB via that adapter) and possibly write the image back to the module should you have to go back.
Make sure you have a MCU image backup as well - O4N will ask you to upgrade the MCU, and to fully go back to the official firmware you'd have to flash the MCU with a matching image as well.
