Can't upload a file using the online GUI

What went wrong?

I'm trying to upload a ".nii.gz" (~90MB) file in ds007067/sub-097/func using the online GUI on Chrome/Edge. The upload message shows a successful upload but the file does not show up.

The issue is definitely related to the specific file being uploaded since I don't run into this issue with other files (.txt, .nii.gz, etc). The file does not seem corrupted, I can open it in FSLeyes correctly.

Expected behavior

The file should show up after an upload.

How to reproduce

1. On Chrome or Edge, go to ds007067 and click the "Add files" button in ds007067/sub-097/func.
2. Add the specific file we are trying to upload. (I tested with other files and the problem does not show up)

Additional information

• I was able to upload other files so the problem seems to be related to the specific file we are trying to upload.
• I also tried uploading a folder (sub-097/test) containing the file. The folder gets stuck in the "loading" state and I can't view the files/delete it. So this is also something to fix since I can't delete this folder anymore.

Update: I tried using https://openneuro.org/crn/graphql to delete the sub-097/test folder. That did not work but it seems to have triggered something. I can now see the file inside the test folder from the openneuro GUI. But it did not delete the folder as I wanted...

I'll leave this open if the admins want to investigate what happened and they can close if not. I'll create a separate issue now that the problem is that I can't delete any file with the GUI.
