Chapter 1 problem.

I have been working on the movie list project and can not seem to get the JSON or images to load. All I get is a screen that says loading...

I have checked over the code again and again and can't find any errors.

I have moved the assets and media folders out of the src folder and into my main movieList folder and am still getting the same result.

I am beyond frustrated. It would be nice if a book for beginners like this had some kind of troubleshooting suggestions.

I had the same issue and turns out it's because I had a newer version of webpack installed. To resolve, you will need to use the exact same versions mentioned in the Chapter 1 json file, remove your node_modules folder and package-lock.json file and then run npm install. That should resolve the issue. Unfortunately these dependency issues are something that we will need to grapple with when we use JS tooling. Probably why docker is so popular.
