Install over an existing AO, or uninstall the old version and start afresh?

Just need to know firstly whether it is necessary to uninstall an existing version of AO before installing your latest and secondly if subsequent versions can simply be run using the exe. file to overwrite.

As a supplementary, I have several million images in the cache. Will these be recognised by the latest version of AO, or do we need to delete the cache, and start again?

Hi! It should be retrocompatible to an extent.
What I recommend is deleting the config file and let it regenerate so you have all of the configs

Thanks for the upddated AutoOrtho for mac. How do I install it? Do I delete the old AutoOrtho and Autoortho macfuse i already have in the plugin folder. this is the old one that is very buggy.

A deletion of the old one should suffice. Running the new one will clean leftover mounts or pieces from old versions and should be compatible.
