Tyre Performance Analysis

A high-fidelity multi-project suite focused on the physics of tyre behaviour in motorsport. Each project explores a key domain of tyre science in detail — from thermal degradation to rain grip modelling — with applications in simulation, setup, and race strategy.

Projects

  1. Tyre Wear Model
    Energy-based degradation model with graining/blistering simulation and tyre health tracking.

  2. Tyre Compound Analysis
    Implements Pacejka and brush models to compare compound performance across slip/load/temperature.

  3. Rain Tyre Performance
    Simulates wet grip loss, aquaplaning thresholds, and water pickup effects on rain compounds.

  4. Tyre Temperature Simulator
    3-layer thermal model predicting carcass & tread response with convective and braking heat input.

  5. Optimal Tyre Management
    Stint simulator and strategy optimiser using degradation and thermal grip evolution.
