New Tutorial for Power Simulations

Hi,

There's a tutorial for power simulations here from @debruine that was presented during the ZIF research and tutorial workshop and again in the 2020 SMLP Summer School. We found the tutorial very useful but noticed that it does not work with the current version of Julia MixedModelsSim.

We spent some time updating the tutorial and adding some additional subjects that were useful to us. We think our new and updated tutorial may be useful to other users and are preparing a pull request.

We suggest adding the new tutorial to this repo (and not the sim-tutorial repo), because users are more likely to find it here and the sim-tutorial seems to be specific to one presentation. Does this sound good to you, or do you suggest a different place to collect tutorials?

We also have one or two questions that relate directly to our code and the format of the tutorial (ipynb or jmd), that maybe we can discuss in the pull request thread.

We can host it here. The best way to do it is part of our docs (I just noticed that link is broken, I'm currently fixing it in #36).

The docs use the Documenter package to convert Markdown to something nice. It's quite similar to writing a jmd file, but there are a few exceptions:

• .md instead of .jmd
• code blocks begin with

     ```@example Main
  

  instead of

     ```{julia}
  

• We would really prefer it if you could do the plotting in Julia as well. There are still some rough areas there, but I'm happy to help in that department. @dmbates is currently working on an example (Add a Pluto notebook to docs #34) using a Pluto notebook and the AlgebraOfGraphics interface to Makie. (If you haven't tried Pluto yet, it's pretty cool and it's what MIT is using for their current Julia course.) I'm also happy to help with Gadfly or Plots.jl if those are easier for you.
• There are some final steps in getting new stuff integrated into the build process, but I can add those once you open a PR as long as you check the box "allow edits by maintainers".
