There is a misleading behavior in the extension request flow when a new requested deadline is earlier than the existing ETA.
Current Behavior
• An extension request is created with a new deadline that is earlier than the current ETA.
• The system still displays the extension as “Extended by +2 days” (or similar), based on the previous logic.
• This is incorrect and misleading, as the deadline is actually being reduced, not extended.
