[Animal] Refactor `HerdManager.daily_routines()`

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Although HerdManager.daily_routines() is not currently too complicated, many more expected changes are coming into the function, and will likely make it too complicated for Flake8 checks. This issue should refactor the function.
