Great New Version

So I went and installed the newest version from Github.

This is what I got for the new Green Party of California Website.

Really quite awesome. No work on my part. This is too easy. Thank you.

But when I went to shrink it down for cell phones, this is what I got.

it would be good if on cell phones the search box was just shrunk down to a magnifying glass.

Really what I want is the content from the center of the desktop view to be first. I am a big boy. I could fix this myself. But I was so impressed with the recent upgrade, I now expect more great things to fall in my lap for free.

More seriously, at some point I may fix it, and issues a pull request, would you be interested in my doing that. What exactly would you like me to do.

As you can tell, I am a bit of a WordPress newbie. But making fast progress.

Since this theme is a basic theme, its concept is "keep it basic, no rich features, no additional functions; all of these for theme developers will be easier to start developing their theme", so anything that is beyond the basic functions, I think it will not be included here.

In conclusion, apart from following bug updates and improving the necessary things according to WordPress changes, I don't think there should be anything more to be added to the base functional or alter them because it will affect a lot of theme developers who is using it.

If it is new widget(s) with new feature then it would be OK.

Anyhow I am really happy with this package. In less than 2 days, I, a non-wordpress developer got a very nice responsive home page up and running.

Next I need to push it out to a visible development server, and I can share a link.

At least you have will have one more nice demo.

the big difference from your version, is that as the page narrows, on tablets, first the right hand column goes to the bottom, and then on cell phones, first is the middle column, below that the left hand column, and below that the right hand column.

I have not yet figured out how to edit the left and right hand columns. What I would like to do is to be able to use the Guttenberg 1 column, 2 column, or 3 column layouts. the readme hints that is possible, but I am not yet sure how it all works.

The other issue is that I was not able to figure out how to do drop down menus using the WordPress tools. These are custom drop down menus (using PUG on a different server).
