Script to convert SR14 land use files to SR15 #2
Description
Series 14 (SR14) land use files (mgra, synthetic persons and households) were needed for ABM2+. For 2025 Regional Plan (RP), MGRA boundaries were updated and new land use forecasts were prepared - Series 15 (SR15). SR15 has a new format that is documented in https://sandag.github.io/ABM/inputs.html.
This script will be within "conversion_sr14_sr15" folder and will take a yaml file as an argument. The yaml file will have paths of SR14 files, other auxiliary inputs such as mgra correspondences, and output paths for SR15 files.
The output will be three files - mgra, synthetic persons and households - that will work with ABM3 runs.
The script needs to work for files of any year (2022, 2035, 2050, etc.)
